Honeymoon

Rafal and I got married back in August, but we decided to postpone the honeymoon until January. There is nothing better to break up the winter then a nice get-away to a tropical climate.  Since we booked our trip back in September, this gave us something really nice to look forward to :)
Our travel agent, Michelle Alvero from UNIGLOBE (Edmonton downtown location) was very helpful in aiding us find the perfect honeymoon we both wanted. I highly recommend her services. The trip turned out to be all we wanted and more. We flew down to the Mayan Riviera and stayed at the Eldorado Royale. Wow, talk about luxury! My husband spoiled me rotten...lobster candlelight dinner, couples massages on the beach, romantic dinner in Playa del Carmen - are just some of the little surprises my husband had planned...can't wait for our one year anniversary ;)  Here are a few shots:

Happy New Year !

Another year over... I feel so blessed to have had the privilege of shooting your life's moments.

Just wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Lots of health, happiness and all the best in 2009! Thank you for choosing Images by Frost.

'Tiss The Season

There is nothing more rewarding then to “give back”. Especially around this time of year, majority of us get too preoccupied with things that don’t really matter. Things like getting the perfect gift, making sure it’s wrapped to the nines, decorating the house just right, or cooking the lavish meals. Volunteering humbles people, I think it reminds us of what truly is important in life.

When I decided to give back, I wanted to do something meaningful that hopefully left a lasting memory. There is only one way I know to how to do this. So I packed up my camera gear and took part in EPCOR’S Christmas for the Kids. I believes this is my forth year now.
What an amazing tear-dropper event. Every year a school in the Edmonton district receives gifts, goodie bags and Santa Claus himself makes the appearance to personally deliver it to each and every munchkin that normally would’t get anything come Christmas morning. There are elves, reindeers and more! I have NO WORDS to describe the energy that comes with this. The looks on kid’s faces and the screams when they see Santa is truly priceless. Each gift is wrapped and personally addressed to each child by name. Talk about going the extra mile. Every year I am more then happy to hide behind my camera when taking the photo with Santa as there is always a tear or two or three…

I met some amazing people, one of them was Kevin. He has organized this event for years now and does an excellent job too. I encourage everyone to give back it’s an experience in itself. This year’s school was Beacon Heights Elementary and here are a few shots:
